The HPL Genealogy Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7PM. Our meetings are open to everyone and there are no fees.

Swab Your Cheek Tuesday, May 27 7-8:30 pm
Marsha Peterson-Maass will help you make sense of today's three commercially available DNA tests. She will discuss which ancestral lines of descent each test applies to and what your current options are for networking to find DNA kinship. Marsha will bring copies of her books for $20.00 purchase, or, bring your copy with you and she will exchange it for free with the updated 2014 version.
Drop-In Genealogy Assistance
The Helen Plum Library provides drop-in genealogy assistance on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A representative from the Daughters of the American Revolution will be available to help people with resources and "brick walls."
