Genealogy Club Programs

Tuesday, May 22nd at 7:00 p.m. - special War of 1812 presentation. This year marks the bicentennial of the War of 1812. History expert Jim Rowan will be attired in authentic circa 1812 military garb to speak about the causes and major battles of the War of 1812. Rowan will also share his collection of battlefield slides. This program is open to all; children are welcome with an adult.

Tuesday, June 26th at 7:00 p.m. - members sharing meeting held in the library's Board Room.

Tuesday, July 24th at 7:00 p.m. - Heather Becker, CEO of the Conservation Center, Inc., will discuss specific ways to preserve our famly heirlooms and memorabilia. Heather is an artist, author and entreprepreneur. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and the International School of Art in Italy.
