HPL Genealogy Club Programs
The HPL Genealogy Club meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 7PM. Our meetings are held in the library's Auditorium and are open to everyone.
From Land Records to Google Earth: Mapping Your Family's Place in the World May 26th 7-8:30pm
Participants will learn how to combine the use of traditional hard copy land records and modern on-line mapping resources to track down homes, farms and businesses of elusive ancestors. Presented by Jane Haldeman.

Where Did I Put Grandpa? July 28th 7-8:30 pm. Presenter Caron Brennan returns to share methods to improve organization and help you decrease lost relatives!.

CSI: Cemetery Search and Investigation September 22nd 7-8:30 pm. Cemeteries are more than just a final resting place! Presenter Tina Beaird returns to share strategies for uncovering additional information.

Drop-In Genealogy Assistance
The Helen Plum Library provides drop-in genealogy assistance on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A representative from the Daughters of the American Revolution will be available to help people with resources and "brick walls."
