The book reviews are building up!

We've got your next favorite book for Summer Reading... Adults in the Build a Better World summer reading program have already reported nearly 400 books since June 1! For every 5 books reported, adult readers have a chance to win one of over two dozen prizes. They also have the opportunity to write a book review on one of our gear-shaped forms, which we post in the Adult Department. Most of the reviews are enthusiastic recommendations, such as:

We Were Liars by E. Lockhart. “It has a very gripping storyline, to the point where you can’t put it down for hours. There’s a twist at the end that’ll make you go *GASP*, and it’ll make you wanna read it again. :)”

Bittersweet and Blood Orange by Susan Wittig Albert. “These books are taking place in Texas and keep you coming back for more about characters, information on real happenings of today’s world around us and some great recipes. Mystery.”

Private Games by James Patterson and Mark Sullivan. “Set during the London Olympics where a master villain tries to end the modern Olympics through evil acts. The Private series has been an enthralling delight! Try them—”

Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel. “Highly topical and inspired! This first book in the series by this first time novelist combines science, science fiction, geopolitics in a very accessible manner! A must read!”

A Disposition to be Rich by Geoffrey C. Ward. “A fascinating story of the greatest swindler of the Gilded Age. He bankrupted Ulysses S. Grant! This compelling, behind-the-scenes story is told by the swindler’s great grandson.”

Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine. “If JK Rowling and Carlos Ruiz Zafon co-authored a novel, it might read something like Ink and Bone. The first book in a new trilogy by Rachel Caine, it’s a fast paced novel that keeps you wanting more. The second is available and the third comes out this summer!”

So far there is only one negative book review. Come in and see if you can spot it!
