Helen Plum Library is teaming up with area libraries to offer a virtual chat with journalist, author, and filmmaker Alex Kotlowitz. His most notable book is the award-winning national bestseller There Are No Children Here. The chat will be moderated by Pulitzer Prize-winning Chicago Tribune columnist Mary Schmich.
