The Yiddish Policemen's Union
by Michael Chabon
An alternate historical work based on a premise that Alaska became the Jewish homeland after World War II. Detective Meyer Landsman investigates a heroin-addicted chess prodigy’s murder, a case with ties to an extremist Orthodox sect.

This program is part of our Own Voices series, where we focus on authors from underrepresented or marginalized groups writing about their own experiences.

Copies of the eBook and eAudiobook can be found on Hoopla. Limited print copies available, please contact Adult Services for availability.
