Let’s face it, learning a new language is hard. It’s a daunting task complicated by new grammar rules, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and pronunciations. We can help! If you are in the Library stop by our foreign language collection in the 460’s or our CD Books by the study corrals. We have titles for many languages including Polish, French, German, Chinese, and so much more. If Spanish is what you’re after, try browsing our Spanish collection. We have Spanish translated titles of popular authors such as King, and Picoult.
Learning English? We also have a wonderful ESL collection filled with books on popular topics such as grammar, reading, writing, and speaking. If you’re interested in practicing what you learn stop by our ESL programs to interact with other learners and native speakers. We have a program every Monday, Thursday and Friday.
If you can’t make it to the Library you can try our online database, Mango Languages. It makes virtual learning fun and engaging. Plus, you can choose from over 70 languages. Visit the ESL/ELL and Language Learning online resources for more information on this and other resources.
