Effective Fri, Nov 20, the library building is open for Plum Pickup Service by appointment only. In-person browsing, computer usage, and research is suspended until further notice. 

Currently, COVID-19 cases in the Lombard community are on the rise. To encourage social distancing and to slow the spread of the COVID-19, the Library is following local health directives by limiting in-person services. 

Plum Pickup Service

Available by appointment only during the following hours: 
Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat: 9am–4pm 
Tue and Thu: 1pm–8pm

Phone and Chat Reference

Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat: 9am–4pm 
Tue and Thu: 1pm–8pm 

Printing with Curbside Pickup 

Need something printed? Email askalibrarian@helenplum.org or call (630) 627-0316 to arrange for curbside pickup of printouts. 

Returning Library Materials

The Library’s outdoor book drops are open. Overdue fines will continue to be waived during this time. 

Getting or Renewing a Library Card

Library cards for residents and businesses can be issued and renewed remotely. Visit helenplum.org/library-cards to sign up.
