In celebration of Teen Read Week, October 8-14, 2017, students in 6th-12th grades with a Helen Plum Library card or who attend a school served by Helen Plum Library, are invited to participate in our Teen Art Contest. Teen artists should create a bookmark’ using our entry form that reflects the theme: “Unleash Your Story” What is YOUR story. All submissions correctly entered will be able to have their artwork displayed at the Helen Plum Library during the month of October, beginning with Teen Read Week.
The winning artist will have the opportunity to have their bookmark design featured on the Helen Plum Library website. Both the winner and the runner up will receive 30 professionally printed copies of their bookmark to hand out to friends and family. Additional copies of the bookmarks will be also be available in the Teen Zone in October while supplies last.
Online entry form and full contest guidelines available at helenplum.org/teen-services and in the Teen Zone beginning Friday, September 1. All entries must be submitted by Sun, Oct 1. Winners will be notified by Sunday, October 8th.
