The application for our 2025 Summer Reading Volunteen program is now available!
About the program
The Summer Volunteen Program is a service opportunity for teens entering grades 9-12. The program runs during summer break with orientation and training sessions in May. Volunteens assist at the Summer Reading Desk in the Youth Services Department and are expected to volunteer for a weekly shift.
As a summer Volunteen, you will:
- Check reading logs for children and families.
- Help with prize distribution for children and families.
- Assist with other library-related tasks as needed.
- Earn service hours!
How do I sign up?
Read more details about the requirements and responsibilities, and then when you're ready, fill out the online application form. Applications are due by Mon, Apr 14.
