Illinois Humanities Scholar Jitesh Jaggi explores the experiences of multiple generations of South Asians in Illinois through oral history. Their stories of survival, longing, and change, in addition to Jitesh’s own lived experience, reveal a unique perspective on America’s embrace of multiculturalism. Jitesh will also offer guidance on conducting your own oral histories to capture the essence of an interviewee’s life journey.
