Helen Plum Library
Book an appointment for up to two hours to work on your own project in the Recording Lab. Appointments are approved based on staff availability. A Helen Plum library card is required.
Recording Lab appointments are available for ages 18 and up, but library kids over the age of 12 are welcome with their library grown-ups.
Please note that editing and exporting take a significant amount of time. Reserve at least 30 minutes of your appointment time to export your audio files.
General Time Estimate for Exporting:
- Small Project (short duration, few tracks): Export may take 5-15 minutes.
- Medium Project (moderate complexity, several tracks): Export could take 15-30 minutes.
- Large Project (many tracks, heavy effects, long duration): Export could take 30 minutes to an hour or more.
